The Azpeitia City Council and the Kulturaz cooperative continue their work organizing the 44th Basque Theater Festival, and as part of this, they have launched a poster competition to select the image for this year's edition.

This competition brings a notable innovation: for the first time, authors must submit their proposals digitally. Various formats will be accepted, including JPG, TIFF, and PDF, at 72 dpi (RGB) and 300 dpi (CMYK), the latter with a 5-millimeter bleed. Submitted works must measure 450mm x 680mm, and the deadline for submissions is May 29.
Each author may submit a maximum of two works, provided they are original, unpublished, and have not been awarded in other competitions. The poster competition will grant a single prize of 900 euros to the author of the work chosen to be the official image of the Basque Theater Festival.
A jury composed of three experts appointed by the organizers will evaluate the posters, considering creativity, graphic and plastic quality, attractiveness, and ease of reproduction and editing. Before the jury makes its decision, an exhibition will be held with the works submitted to the competition, featuring a maximum of twenty pieces.
