Getaria hosted the Euskadi Trainera Championship this weekend, where Orio claimed victory, marking their second major title of the current rowing season.

The Orio crew set a strong pace from the start, successfully defending the title they won last year. Despite a late surge from Donostiarra, who finished just three seconds behind, the winners managed to control the race and secure the top spot on the podium.
Hondarribia, the winner of the first heat, secured third place overall, outperforming Zierbena and the local Getaria boat. Meanwhile, the crews from Bermeo and Isuntza struggled to match the times set by the top finishers, ultimately placing sixth and seventh.
The results highlight the current strength of Gipuzkoa-based teams, which occupied the top four positions in the general classification, surpassing the times recorded by the Bizkaia crews.
