The Orio City Council will hold its regular June plenary session tomorrow, Thursday, at 7:30 PM in the municipal hall, focusing on key initiatives regarding gender equality and public infrastructure.

A central item on the agenda is the adjudication of the contract to install, manage, and maintain a public network for electric vehicle charging in Orio. The initiative aims to establish four fast and semi-fast charging stations in public spaces, addressing the current lack of such services in the town.
Furthermore, the council will vote on the approval of the III Equality Plan for women and men for the 2026-2029 period. The session will also cover the 2025 general accounts and several adjustments to the municipal budget.
The meeting will conclude with the selection of the 2027 local holiday and a motion regarding the 150th anniversary of the abolition of the Fueros and the 50th anniversary of the Mayors' Movement. The proceedings will be broadcast live on the municipal website.
