The Orio football club has appointed Jon Irureta as its new coach for the upcoming season, as announced by the management.

Jon Irureta, from Antiguo, will be the new head coach of Orioko's first team next season. The 30-year-old has spent the last three years coaching Ostadar in Lasarte at the Preferente level, leading the team to play-off positions twice and narrowly missing promotion this past year. Before that, he spent 10 years in youth teams in Añorga.
Irureta is embracing this new challenge with enthusiasm. The club's management has expressed their «full confidence» in him to lead the project, stating that his «commitment, hunger, and passion» will help them take significant steps forward, «both on and off the field».

"Good luck Jon! Your successes will be our successes"
