Residents of Narrondo, in Zumaia, immersed themselves in the San Cristóbal festivities this past weekend. The festival committee organized events for all ages, and the public response was highly positive.
A variety of activities took place in the neighborhood. Among them, the first cycling tour was held on the new bike path, integrating the recently opened section into the community's life. The clown Xapotxin drew a large crowd in the main square, and traditional Basque sports, dinners, and other events were also part of the program.
On Saturday, for instance, mus and escoba card tournaments were held. Rosario and Karmele were the champions in escoba, while Jose Miguel and Rubio won the mus tournament.
