The Getaria rowing team has shown that they are ready to compete at the highest level again this season. Following the races held in Bilbao and Madrid, the crew has solidified their standing among the elite in the waters of Zierbena.
During Sunday's race, the Esperantza boat dominated its heat with authority, finishing 11 seconds ahead of Hondarribia. With a final time of 20:13.86, the team delivered a spectacular final stretch, beating Bermeo by eight seconds at the finish line.
This result places the Getaria rowers in a strong position for upcoming challenges. The team will compete next Saturday in Castro for the XIV Bandera CaixaBank, where they will participate in the honor heat.
