This year's Euskal Jaia extended over two days in Getaria, with celebrations kicking off on Friday. In the afternoon, nearly 80 children and young people from the Gure Txeru group, ranging from 5-year-old kindergarteners to 2nd-year secondary students, performed dances at the town's fronton. In the evening, attendees enjoyed a performance by the adults in the same venue.
On Saturday, the festivities began early with a 'diana' (morning wake-up call). Many residents, children, youth, and adults, took to the streets dressed in traditional 'baserritarra' (farmer) attire to immerse themselves in the festive spirit. Trikitixa players, pandero players, and txistularis worked to get the townspeople dancing, while the Inpernupeko joaldunak (bell ringers) prompted visitors to capture the moment with their cameras.
A large dance gathering organized with 'Irrintziak' and the Eingo group filled the town square at midday.
