The Floreaga neighborhood in Azkoitia is set to celebrate May 1st with a full day of festivities, where children's activities and the Gurutzetxoko Krosa will take center stage.

The Floreaga neighborhood is preparing for a grand day on May 1st, where residents and visitors alike can enjoy a festive atmosphere. The day's program will be filled with activities for children, starting from the morning and continuing into the afternoon.
In the morning, starting at 11:00 AM, the XLII Gurutzetxoko Krosa will take place. Those wishing to participate must come to the neighborhood that morning, and registrations can be made at the neighborhood bar from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM, fifteen minutes before the race begins.
After the morning races conclude, there will also be an option for lunch. Organizers will set up a space for those who wish to enjoy a meal together, although each person must bring their own food. Lunch will be held between 1:30 PM and 3:00 PM.
The afternoon will also be dedicated to children. From 3:00 PM onwards, the company Atracciones Sanz will provide inflatables and a foam party. Later, at 6:00 PM, big-headed figures (buruhandiak) will parade through the neighborhood streets, to the delight of the little ones.
To conclude the day, music will fill the neighborhood. The organizers have emphasized children's participation, and a romería (traditional Basque celebration with music and dancing) has been arranged with them. The music group Aliritzi will liven up the end of the day starting at 8:30 PM.
