From early afternoon, one lane of the coastal road between Zumaia and Zarautz will be closed. Consequently, drivers heading to Zarautz will need to use the AP8 motorway.
The sporting event, which will gather 800 participants, will also cause changes to Lurraldebus services. Specifically, between 14:00 and 18:15, the regular bus stops on Patxita Etxezarreta street will be suspended for the UK09, UK10, and UK11 lines serving the Zumaia-Donostia route. During this period, the only start and end stops will be those at the Txomin Agirre quay.
Travelers intending to go to Getaria will first need to travel to Zarautz and then take the bus to Getaria, as that section of the N-634 road will be open at that time.
Within Zarautz itself, some bus stops will also be canceled during the event. From 14:15 to 18:30, the two stops at Argi, as well as those at Sanz Enea and San Pelaio, will be suspended for services heading towards Donostia. Lurraldebus buses will make alternative stops at the Firefighters roundabout.
Inland services will also be affected. The service from Zumaia to Aizarnazabal departing at 17:10 and the one returning from Aizarnazabal to Zumaia at 17:30 will be canceled.
The UK06 line between Zumaia and Zumarraga will also see changes. The service departing from Zumaia at 13:45 will travel via the motorway to Elgoibar. Upon reaching Azkoitia from Azkarate, a bus change will occur. Furthermore, for services scheduled to depart from Zumaia at 14:45, 16:45, and 17:45, the segment between Zumaia and Zestoa will be canceled, with buses departing directly from Zestoa at 15:00, 17:00, and 18:00 respectively.
Additionally, services departing from Zumarraga Hospital at 13:05, 15:10, and 16:05 will only reach Zestoa and will not continue to Zumaia.
