Zumaia's Women's House celebrated its annual Raixta Eguna once again to mark the end of the academic year. Throughout the morning, various artisans gathered in the March 8th square, showcasing and selling their products. While earrings were a popular item, other goods such as clothing, soaps, paintings, and ceramic objects were also available.
Several workshops took place in the square itself, and around 1:00 PM, a feminist batucada paraded through the town's streets with powerful and lively rhythms, spreading the festive atmosphere to the community.
Solidarity was also a key theme, with a stall dedicated to supporting the Sahrawi people. Here, cakes and tea were offered in exchange for donations, and henna hand painting was also available.
Around the stalls, a bar service was provided for refreshments, and prizes were raffled among those who purchased tickets.
