This process includes the allocation, via lottery, of ten official protection homes in Santutxu, along with eighteen subsidized homes within the same project, and an additional twelve subsidized homes of the same type in Erdikalea. In total, forty homes will be allocated.
The Santutxu project, which experienced delays due to issues related to the works' tender process, has regained momentum after the dispute was resolved. This progress has led the Azpeitia Town Council to emphasize the importance of registering sufficiently in advance to participate in the lotteries for both Santutxu and Erdikalea homes.
To be eligible for the lottery of the ten official protection homes in Santutxu, applicants must be registered with Etxebide. During registration, it is necessary to indicate the purchase regime and specify Azpeitia as the access municipality. These procedures must be completed before November 1st, as time is required for the registration to become effective.
Furthermore, an application expressing the desire to participate in the lottery must be submitted, including the Etxebide file number. The registration period for the lottery will be announced once the regulatory bases are published.
This year will also see the lottery for eighteen subsidized homes in Santutxu and another twelve in Erdikalea. Unlike the official protection homes, registrations for these subsidized properties must be processed at the Municipal Registry of Azpeitia Town Council once the application period opens. Applicants can register in person at the Housing Office (Enparan street, 34) or via the municipal website www.azpeitia.eus.
As announced by the Azpeitia council, the regulatory bases for the allocation of homes in Santutxu and Erdikalea will be published before summer. These will detail the participation requirements, and it is anticipated that the joint lottery for all forty homes will take place on a single day, before the end of this year.
