The Arraun Lagunak team has convincingly won the Lekeitio regatta, setting a new course record and securing their eleventh flag of the season.

Lekeitio (Bizkaia) was the final challenge of the weekend for the Euskotren league rowing teams. There was no trace of last week's poor weather and rough seas today; instead, the race was held under favorable rowing conditions. Arraun Lagunak once again proved its dominance: it broke the course record, finishing in 10:48;35, and pocketed its 11th flag of the season. Orio came in sixth (11:07.40), and Zumaia finished last (11:17.18).
The two regional boats, Orio and Zumaia, launched into the water in the first heat along with Hibaika and Donostiarra. Kike Manterola's and Xanti Zabaleta's boats made good initial strokes, positioning themselves in the top spots of the heat in the early minutes. However, these positions did not last long. Donostiarra began to gain strength and positioned itself as the heat leader by the time of the turn. Hibaika also moved up, managing to overtake Orio and Zumaia. Despite their efforts, Orio and Zumaia ultimately finished third and fourth in the heat, respectively. Donostiarra qualified in first place, and Hibaika in second.
The top positions in the regatta were distributed in the honor tanda, and once again, Arraun Lagunak was the winner, having won 11 out of 11 flags. Today, however, Tolosaldea closely followed the leader throughout the race, and San Juan was not far behind either. Nevertheless, the Donostia-based team managed to maintain a gap of four or five seconds over Tolosaldea throughout the competition. Thus, San Juan qualified third in the heat, and Astillero fourth.
Consequently, in the classification of the Lekeitio regatta, Arraun Lagunak ranked first; second Tolosaldea; third San Juan; fourth Donostiarra; fifth Hibaika; sixth Orio; seventh Astillero; and eighth Zumaia. After today's race, Orio remains in fifth place in the overall standings with 35 points. Zumaia, on the other hand, is in a more difficult situation: it is currently last with 21 points, six points behind the second-to-last team, Donostiarra.
Regarding the KAE 1 league, Zarautz rounded off the race day by securing its second flag of the weekend in Santander. They won convincingly (21:08.43), finishing more than 11 seconds ahead of Deustu. Kaiku came in third, and Zumaia achieved the fastest time after them (21:31.00). The Orio B team finished in ninth place today (22:00.80).
In the KAE 1 league, in the overall standings, Zarautz remains the leader with 124 points, tied with Deustu. Zumaia is third, 11 points behind the top two boats.
