Aduna and Tolosa Advance to Interpueblos Basque Pelota Championship Semifinals

Aduna defeated Zaldibia in hand pelota, and Tolosa beat Alegia in rubber pala, reaching the semifinals.

Aduna and Tolosa will compete in the semifinals of the Interpueblos Basque Pelota Championship after successfully advancing from their respective matches.

In hand pelota, Aduna has eliminated Zaldibia. Despite losing 2-1 away, they secured a 3-0 victory at home, advancing with an aggregate score of 4-2. The cadets won 22-14, the juniors 22-19, and the seniors 22-4 in the return matches. They will now face Bergara in the semifinals. The other semifinal will be between Hernani and Oiartzun.
In rubber pala, Tolosa has qualified for the semifinals after winning their tie against Alegia. The return match was played at the Beotibar fronton, where Tolosa won 2-1, achieving a total score of 4-2 in the tie. In singles, they won 20-18 on the full court, in doubles 20-13, and Alegia won 2-20 in the 7-point category singles. Tolosa will play their semifinal against Andoain. The other semifinal will be between Aia and Azkoitia.
Meanwhile, Anoeta could not overcome Andoain in their tie. After losing 1-2 at home, Anoeta also lost 2-1 in the return leg. In singles, Anoeta won 6-20, but they lost 20-9 in doubles and 20-11 in the 7-point category.
