The documentary, comprising six chapters, illustrates solutions already being implemented in various global locations to combat the climate crisis. Experiences were filmed in 17 countries, featuring international experts and scientists.
The series covers topics such as renewable energy, ecosystem restoration, and the transformation of the current economic model. Recognizable figures like Jane Goodall, Mark Ruffalo, Christiana Figueres, Kate Raworth, and Fernando Valladares have participated.
The documentary was first released by RTVE in 2025, and all six episodes are currently available on the RTVE Play platform.
The screening is organized as part of the Gorliz Resiliente project. This initiative will be introduced today at 6:00 PM in the Town Hall, aiming to better prepare the municipality for future environmental challenges.
Key focus areas will include water, energy, food, biodiversity, waste management, well-being, and climate change.
The project originated from an ecosocial garden initiative launched in 2025. The goal now is to extend this philosophy to other areas, examining local resource management and identifying actionable steps within Gorliz itself.
