The VI. Señora Sariketa has been presented at the Legazpi youth center, aiming to promote bertsolarism and emphasize the importance of youth centers. This year's edition will feature two qualifying rounds and a final, scheduled for May and June.

The presentation of the competition took place at the Legazpi youth center, where over 60 people gathered. During the event, details about the competition were provided, a video clip was screened, t-shirts were unveiled, and information about the new bertso-paper competition was shared. Additionally, members of the Gasteiz feminist bertsolari school for beginners performed a series of bertsos.
In this year's edition, for the first time, a bertso-paper competition has been launched, with the aim of encouraging bertsolaris who do not usually perform in public squares. In the previous year's edition, an effort was made to bring back bertsolaris who had left the stage, and following that path, this year seeks to motivate those who are not active through bertso-papers.

"I wanted to acknowledge the women who have worked in the shadows before us."

The two qualifying rounds of the competition will be held in May: on May 16th at the Zizpa youth center in Baiona and on May 23rd at the Esparru youth center in Zizur Nagusia. From each qualifying round, three bertsolaris will advance to the final, which will take place on June 7th at the Danontzat youth center in Plentzia-Gorliz. All sessions will be held in youth centers, emphasizing the importance of these spaces and in collaboration with local assemblies and feminist groups.
Before the final, on June 7th, a meal will be organized. Tickets will be available for purchase later through social media. T-shirts can also be ordered, and their distribution will take place at the final.
