The municipal assembly of the PNV in Berango has re-elected the current mayor as their candidate for the upcoming 2027 municipal elections, reinforcing a project focused on proximity and local governance.

The municipal assembly of the PNV in Berango has re-elected the current mayor as their candidate for the Alcaldía in the upcoming 2027 elections. The jeltzale party states that this decision “reinforces the party's support for a project focused on proximity, stability, and local management”.
The current councilor approaches this new stage “with enthusiasm, responsibility, and a strong desire to continue working for the town” and will continue to promote “a close, cohesive municipal model designed to improve the quality of life for the people of Berango”.
With a degree in Therapeutic Pedagogy from the University of Deusto and postgraduate training in Speech Therapy and Psychomotricity, the candidate has been part of the Berango City Council since 2015. Before assuming the Alcaldía in the current legislature, she held responsibilities in areas such as Youth, Employment, Economic Promotion, and Finance.
