EH Bildu has called for improvements to the metro service in Uribe Kosta, following the rejection of a previous proposal eighteen months ago and facing delays in new technology until 2030-2035.

The coalition explained that a proposed improvement plan submitted a year and a half ago was rejected, and the results of a subsequent demand study have not been released. Furthermore, they warn that the delay in the arrival of new trains and technology until between 2030 and 2035 will prolong the current inadequate service.
In response to this situation, EH Bildu has proposed immediate measures. These include extending services that reach Urduliz to other time slots and having some morning trains departing from Sopela start their journey in Urduliz, to enhance frequency during peak hours.
For the medium term, they have also suggested infrastructure upgrades, such as constructing a siding in Urduliz and optimizing the single-track section between Urduliz and Plentzia.

The main problem is not technical, but a lack of political will.

The coalition believes the core issue is not technical, but rather a lack of political will, and has urged institutions to prioritize public transport. Additionally, they have called on citizens to participate in signature campaigns and mobilizations, including a rally scheduled for May 7 in Sopela.
