The council has indicated that previous editions have shown that participation yields results. Consequently, new seating and urban furniture have been installed on the path from Plentzia to Barrika, the town hall stairs and pedestrian crossings have been illuminated, and the project to create a new naturalized park in Abadenesolo is in the adjudication phase. Furthermore, all proposals received last year, including those that did not make it into the main process, have been considered to define the priorities for the 2026 budget.
To submit proposals in person, questionnaires can be deposited in the mailboxes located at the Town Hall and the Ander Deuna Culture House. Additionally, street engagement activities have been organized to encourage participation: on June 18th, at 6:00 PM, an informative hot chocolate event will be held at Tabernatxu Barrika (in the Senior Citizens' Home); on June 24th, from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM, an information point will be set up in the Town Hall square, and in the afternoon (5:00 PM - 8:00 PM) an itinerant technical team will tour the neighborhoods collecting ideas. This dynamic will be repeated on June 26th: in the morning, an information point in the square, and in the afternoon (5:00 PM - 8:00 PM) in the Goierri neighborhood.
Those wishing to participate online can submit their proposals on the Barrika City Council website ([www.barrika.eus](http://www.barrika.eus/)) or by scanning the QR code on the information brochures. All contributions received will be technically analyzed and evaluated for their feasibility and potential implementation using the 30,000 euro fund.
