Works begin to adapt Langaurre leisure area in Alegia

Improvement works announced by the Alegia City Council are underway, enhancing accessibility and infrastructure with a budget of 111,000 euros.

Works announced by the Alegia City Council to adapt the Langaurre leisure area have commenced, as reported in early February, with grass cutting and other adjustments already in progress.

Municipal sources have indicated that various new infrastructures will be installed «in the short term» to allow users to better enjoy the area. These improvements include enhancing accessibility, renovating the restrooms and children's play area, and updating the furniture, barbecues, and «similar elements» within the site.
Furthermore, the Sagastigaineta Borda will also be renovated as part of this project. All these works have a budget of 111,000 euros and will be carried out within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (Next Generation-EU), funded by the European Union.
Specifically, these improvements are part of the implementation of action 1 (Tolosaldea on foot and by bicycle) of Axis 2 (Improvement of Energy Efficiency) of the Tolosaldea Sustainable Tourism Plan.
