The Haragi Fair in Tolosa has once again gathered a large crowd this Saturday, offering the opportunity to savor the excellent quality and flavor of Tolosaldea's meat production.

The dense smoke from the grill and the delicious aroma of roasted meat once again filled Tolosa this Saturday at the traditional Local Meats Fair. Popularly known as Haragi, the second special fair of the year is usually synonymous with success, and this edition has been no exception. Despite there being only two producer stalls, which somewhat diminished the festive atmosphere, the event attracted a large number of people who, in an exceptional setting, were able to enjoy the great quality and flavor of Tolosaldea's meat production.
With an overcast sky but no rain, and a cool but pleasant temperature, a continuous stream of people, without large crowds but constant, gathered throughout the morning in the Triángulo to discover the offerings of local producers and taste the roasts from Txomin Parrilla.
The ever-popular lamb skewers, zikiro, beef picaña, veal ribs, and txuleta txistorra flew off the shelves, and by 13:00, tickets had already sold out. It was difficult to find a spot at the tables set up for the occasion across the square, with families and groups savoring the first appetizer of the day.

"The day is not going badly, although this year there are fewer stalls and that might be harming us instead of benefiting us, because fewer people are gathering."

The Saturday morning, enlivened by the sound of dultzainas between pintxos and drinks, concluded with the appearance of the group Marabiyak, a rolling sound experience that, with their bikes and large yellow speakers, did not go unnoticed before heading at noon to Zumardi Txiki, the other central point of the fair.
Another major attraction of the day were the competitions, both the meat stew contest and the one that involved guessing the weight of a donkey and a pottoka peacefully grazing in the Triángulo. Both attracted many glances, especially the second, which had great participation due to its originality and the presence of the two animals, which delighted the little ones.
