Tolosa's pelota players have secured their spot in the final of the Gipuzkoa Intercomarcal Championship, triumphing over the Andoain team in the semi-finals.

The Tolosa pelota players began the semi-finals at home last weekend. In the tie played in Andoain, the home team introduced a change after the first match, where Tolosa had secured a 2-1 lead. Today, the hosts replaced their star player, Loidi, with Belaunzaran to face Mendizabal. However, the strategy did not pay off as expected, with the Tolosa players winning 20-14.
This result leaves the tie almost decided. In the second match, the doubles game, the home team decided to give an opportunity to a new pair. The Tolosa duo, consisting of Izagirre and Laarmirni, continued with their established partnership and won convincingly with a score of 20-6. In the final match, with nothing at stake, Arregi was rested. Aldazabal played in place of the team's star but lost 20-14 against Agirre from Andoain. It should be noted that Loidi also did not participate in this last game.

"We will face Azkoitia, who left Aia kalean yesterday. We are hopeful, but we know it won't be easy. We will try our best and hope to bring the championship home."
