The group Tigreses emerged in 2023 with the aim of creating music without filters, rules, or a predefined path. What began as a personal process has grown into a band that now presents its debut album, Canciones Salvajes Vol.1.
This work features ten tracks and serves as a calling card for an evolving musical proposal. Currently, the project has solidified into a band with the addition of Jabi Soto (bass), Adolfo García (guitar), and Álvaro Larrori (drums), transforming the initial vision into a group dynamic.
“"The important thing was not the album itself, but the process. To take the plunge, go to a studio and record absolutely everything."
The album was recorded in 2024 in Tolosa, at Arax Studios, with the collaboration of producer Lemy River, who helped shape the sound. The title Canciones Salvajes Vol.1 itself suggests an idea of continuity and an open project, where intuitive and unconstrained creation is paramount.
The sound of Tigreses is difficult to categorize, blending rock, pop, and psychedelia, with influences ranging from classic rock to 1960s Spanish pop and touches of stoner. This blend is also reflected in their live performances, where each instrument seeks its space, bringing new energies and nuances.
The band has already performed in various venues, and their next show will be on June 5th at the Jimmy Jazz hall, sharing the stage with The Soulbreaker Company. Tigreses prefers a measured approach, prioritizing quality concerts that contribute to the growth and consolidation of their musical proposal.
