The first qualifying matches will be played tomorrow at 20:30. The semifinals will take place on July 31st and August 1st, and the finals will be held on August 23rd. All matches will be played at the Larrunarri fronton.
A total of 40 players from 23 pelota clubs across Euskal Herria will participate in this year's edition. Among them will be representatives from four clubs in the region: one player from Intxurre of Alegia, four from Behar Zana of Amasa-Villabona, three from Zazpi Iturri of Amezket a, and six from the Tolosa club.
The championship in Alegia will also commence tomorrow with its 12th Pelota Championship. The first semifinals will be held at the Elorri fronton, starting at 19:00.
In the four-and-a-half championship, Beñat and Eneko Gorostidi from the Zazpi Iturri club will compete. In the doubles category, Harkaitz Murua of Intxurre and Julen Sotil of Larraun will play against Ekhi Irribarria from the Tolosa team and Mikel Iturrioze of Intxurre.
