Multiple Sports Activities This Weekend and Throughout May

School sports have organized various events for the coming weeks, including a basketball tournament and a popular cross-country race.

The school sports program in Debagoiena has scheduled a variety of activities for the upcoming weeks, including JOLASHEZI gatherings, swimming, indoor football, and golf sessions, as well as a 3x3 basketball tournament.

This Saturday, the frontons of the Musakola sports center will host the JOLASHEZI gatherings for the youngest students. Simultaneously, at the Ibarra sports center in Aretxabaleta, a swimming event will take place for students in 3rd and 4th grade of Primary Education. Students in 5th and 6th grade will compete in an indoor football championship at the Musakola sports center's court. Additionally, students from LEKE adapted sports will travel to Oñati to train in golf.
This academic year will also feature a 3x3 basketball championship for students from 4th grade of Primary Education to 2nd year of Secondary Education. This event is scheduled for May 9th, and registrations are open until April 30th. Registrations will be completed at school with the assistance of teachers.
Several other activities are planned throughout May. On May 17th, the Otala zxelai cross-country race and the Musakola 4x4 handball championship will be held. On May 23rd, Aretxabaleta will host the 'kirola kalera' event, and on May 30th, the final celebration of LEK will take place.
Furthermore, the sixth edition of the '12 ikastetxe 12 tontor' initiative is underway. The deadline for submitting participation photos for this initiative will be May 30th.
