The Tolosa City Council has condemned a violent homophobic attack, expressing support for the victim and appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The Tolosa City Council has issued a strong condemnation following a violent homophobic attack that occurred on Monday. The council is in continuous contact with the victim, who has requested that testimonies about the incident be collected. Consequently, it has urged citizens who may have witnessed the attack to contact the council to help piece together the events.
The incident took place between 1:15 PM and 1:20 PM on Monday, in the area between the Sagrado Corazon building and number 39 on San Frantzisko street. The victim, aged 42, was walking with their mother, while the aggressor, approximately 20 years old, was with a friend on an electric scooter.

We fundamentally condemn any expression of hate, discrimination, or violence, whether based on sexual orientation or gender identity or expression.

The council emphasized that there were other people in the vicinity at the time of the assault, and therefore, has requested witnesses to provide their accounts to form a more complete picture of what transpired.
