The Hellbona festival will not proceed this year, as announced by the organizers, due to disagreements with the Amasa-Villabona town hall's culture department and a lack of response.

The Hellbona festival will not hold its sixth edition, at least not the one planned for October 10th. This was announced by the organizing association, Hellbona, which brings together fans of rock and heavy metal music, through a message shared on social media.
The association argued that 'disagreements' with the Amasa-Villabona town hall's culture department and the 'lack of response' received were the reasons for the cancellation. 'To organize a festival properly and with guarantees, collaboration, communication, and minimal planning are essential. In this situation, we have not seen the appropriate conditions to move forward with this year's edition,' they explained.
The Hellbona association recalled that the festival's objective is to promote rock and heavy metal in the Tolosaldea region, and therefore, 'the decision was not easy.' However, they believe that 'acting responsibly is the most appropriate path' in the current circumstances.
Finally, they apologized for any inconvenience caused and stated that they will continue with the association's activities, anticipating that they will announce other initiatives and events in the future.
