Mungia's Foruen plaza will be filled with color this Saturday for the 19th fair of native, ornamental, and landscape plants, taking place from ten in the morning until three in the afternoon.

This well-established event will once again gather professionals, producers, and the public around the world of gardening, landscaping, and local products. Throughout the morning, attendees will be able to visit various exhibition and sales stalls for plants, as well as agricultural and gardening machinery.
The fair will also feature local producers offering proximity foods, contributing to the promotion of responsible consumption and local products. A total of 21 stalls will participate in the fair, including ten dedicated to plant sales – ornamental, fruit, aromatic, culinary, herbaceous, succulents, cacti, or orchids.
Additionally, there will be six craft stalls related to the plant world with products such as jewelry, decorative items, soaps, or dried flowers; a specialized bookstore; and five food stalls with products like gildas, pâtés, bread and pastries, sheep cheese, and honey.
The program will also include two specific workshops in Matxin Plaza. On one hand, a talk and consultation session on medicinal plants and outdoor plant care, led by Garbiñe Belloso and aimed at adults, will take place from 12:00 to 13:30. On the other hand, a children's workshop for creating “flowery plates” will be held, designed for children to develop their creativity through flower decoration.
Furthermore, the Mungia City Council will organize a children's drawing contest, in collaboration with Librería Haize, starting at 12:00 in Foruen Enparantza. The activity is aimed at minors between 5 and 12 years old. The completed works will be exhibited during the fair, and there will be a raffle and a prize for each category. Likewise, there will be a gift raffle among those who make purchases at the fair.
