The Lautada Integrated Health Organization (OSI) has finally filled the Pediatrics position at the Agurain Health Center. The new professional will start her role on Monday, June 29th, after securing the position through the public employment offer for hard-to-fill posts.
This call for applications includes the obligation to take up the awarded position and remain in it for a minimum of two years. This measure will provide greater stability to an essential service for the families of Agurain and the entire region.
The arrival of the new professional is excellent news after a long period marked by uncertainty and difficulties in ensuring the continuity of pediatric care.
Furthermore, it addresses one of the main concerns expressed by numerous families in recent years.
The PNV of Lautada highlighted the importance of continuing to promote measures that attract and retain healthcare professionals in positions with significant coverage challenges, particularly in primary care.

"Public healthcare is one of the pillars of our welfare state, and we must continue working to ensure that all municipalities, regardless of their size or location, have quality healthcare services close to the citizens."
