The Cine Express Festival of Portugalete marks its coming-of-age, with the town's nooks and crannies once again serving as the protagonists of this unique event. The initiative highlights the talent and creative agility of participants, who are given only 10 hours to shoot their works.
The festival promotes teamwork and accessible culture, inviting groups, young people, amateurs, and audiovisual professionals to participate in a fun atmosphere. This year, 25 teams have registered, eager to make their short films.
Starting at 8:30 AM, the Gazte Gela will host the participants' arrival, where they will learn the theme at 9:00 AM. From then on, they will have a maximum of 10 hours to complete their short film, which must be submitted before 7:00 PM.
This year, the short films will be screened at the amphitheater of the Santa Clara Cultural Center in Portugalete at 8:00 PM. In case of rain, the screening will take place inside the cultural center.
Subsequently, the jury will deliberate to present the awards at 10:15 PM.
