The initiative aims to make visible and value the presence and contributions of women in science and technology fields, as well as to foster female role models. Therefore, the Council calls upon all women from Leioa or residing in the municipality who professionally work in these areas to participate in the 2027 calendar.
The municipal women's calendar is an annual initiative by the Leioa City Council to give visibility to local women and raise awareness about the importance of gender equality. Previous editions have highlighted fields such as sports or entrepreneurship, featuring women with diverse professional backgrounds.

The City Council encourages all women who meet the requirements to participate and be part of this new edition.
