The Bilbao International Festival of Documentary and Short Film (ZINEBI 68), organized by the Bilbao City Council, has presented its poster, created by artist Jesús Mari Lazkano, which reinterprets Francisco Durrio's "Monumento a Arriaga" sculpture with a cinematic focus.

The poster links the opening of the expansion of the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum, Bilbao Museoa, with the 2026 commemoration of the second centenary of the death of the Bilbao composer Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga. The festival will take place in Bilbao from November 20th to 27th.
The figure of Euterpe, muse of music, is depicted in a golden hue, reminiscent of iconic film awards, and her lyre has been replaced by a 16mm film reel, thus bringing cinema into Durrio's work.
Lazkano's proposal, who holds a degree and doctorate in Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country, evokes the strength and effort required for filmmaking, alongside the vulnerability inherent in any artistic creation. The artist lives and works in Urdaibai and has exhibited internationally.
