Zaratamo has organized various sports activities and events for the upcoming months, including zumba, pilates, and functional training sessions, the 'Mila Koloredun Jaia' muralism event, and the Josetxo Etxandi pelota championship.

The registration period for Zaratamo's sports activities will open on September 2nd and close on the 18th. This year's sessions will commence in the first week of October at the Elexalde, Arkotxa, and Moiordin centers. Activities offered include zumba, pilates, total fitness, and functional training.
Applications can be submitted in person at the municipal offices and libraries of Arkotxa and Elexalde, as well as online. Payments will be made quarterly (October, January, and April). The City Council has announced that places will be limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Furthermore, on September 12th, the association Aztarnak Muralismo will host the ‘Mila Koloredun Jaia’ festival for the second time in Arkotxa, with the support of the Zaratamo City Council. This event will feature the painting of a participatory mural, along with workshops on screen printing and graffiti, and a creative zone. An exhibition by 16 Basque Country graffiti artists is also planned.
In the realm of pelota, Oier Elorzek, a player from Zaratamo, will participate in the 50th Josetxo Etxandi Hand Pelota Memorial in Lezo on September 3rd. He will compete alongside his partner Arribillaga (Zizur Nagusia).
Finally, from August 7th to 11th, Zaratamo's local festivals will take place, featuring various concerts, games, and events, including a popular community meal, pelota matches, and an elektrotxaranga.
