The SPRI Group has launched the Zabaldu+ 2026 program, aimed at facilitating international expansion, collaborative projects, and market entry for Basque SMEs and startups with a budget of 13.6 million euros.

This program offers non-reimbursable grants covering between 45% and 70% of the approved budget, depending on the project's score. Each company can receive up to a maximum of 75,000 euros for individual actions aimed at strengthening their presence abroad.
Zabaldu+ 2026 features a broader scope than previous editions, covering expenses such as internationalization strategies, market studies, operational consulting, and trade fair participation. As a new feature, it also includes support for evaluating the viability of international pilot projects.
The initiative promotes business cooperation through lines aimed at associations, export consortia, and sales groups. This facilitates access to international tenders or joint promotional actions by sharing efforts and risks.
Applications will be evaluated on a competitive basis, assessing project quality, impact on employment in Euskadi, and commitment to sustainability. The submission period is open from July 7 to September 15, 2026.
