The incident occurred last Saturday, April 26, around 3:00 PM. The Ertzaintza responded to the scene after receiving a call reporting that two individuals had entered an apartment through a patio, after forcing the windows.

Upon arrival, officers observed a partially fractured safe in one of the rooms, along with metal-cutting tools. The other rooms of the residence were also in disarray, with indications that the suspects had spent the night inside while the usual resident was absent.

Additionally, neighbors told the regional police that they had been hearing grinding noises coming from the house since the previous day. Minutes later, officers located two individuals near the building whose clothing and physical characteristics matched those of the alleged perpetrators.

Both young men were carrying a bag containing a saw and wrenches, and emitted a strong smell of burnt metal. Consequently, they were arrested as suspects in a burglary with force and were brought before a judge on Saturday night.
