The Sopela City Council has unveiled the program for its patron saint festivals, which will take place from June 25 to July 19 with a wide range of musical and cultural events.

The town of Sopela is getting ready for its summer celebrations. The San Pedro festivities will be held from June 25 to 29, while the El Carmen celebrations will take place in Larrabasterra from July 15 to 19. The local government emphasizes that the goal is to ensure popular, participatory, and egalitarian festivities.
Music is the main attraction. In San Pedro, concerts will be held at the Txosnagune and the Town Hall Square, featuring artists such as Trikidantz, Sua, Mambo Express, La Txama, Nonbait, Mescalina, Albina&Divina, Cherry&The Ladies, Janus Lester, Zinema Paradise, and Xabi Aburruzaga.
Meanwhile, the Urgitxieta Square in Larrabasterra will host performances by Etzakit, Rise To Fall, The Clams, Manny Calavera, Xiberoots, and Folklore Bizian. Beyond music, the program includes street theater, dance, and circus performances, promoting collaboration with local associations and the hospitality sector.
