Solaria has filed an administrative litigation appeal with the Vitoria-Gasteiz court, seeking to expedite the administrative management of its projects in Álava.

Solaria has filed an administrative litigation appeal with the Administrative Litigation Court number 2 of Vitoria-Gasteiz, aiming to streamline the administrative management of its projects in Álava. The company cites "qualified material inactivity of the administration".
The Department of Industry, Energy Transition and Sustainability of the Basque Government published the details of the appeal in the Official Gazette of the Basque Country (BOPV) on Friday. According to Solaria, the administration has not "effectively promoted and resolved" the environmental assessment procedure for the SZS5 project, thereby harming the company's "legitimate rights and interests".
The SZS5 project specifically refers to a photovoltaic energy plant and its electrical evacuation infrastructure planned between the municipalities of Iruña Oka and Ribera Alta, as part of the Solaria Zierbena Solar macro-project.
