Smartlog Ointxe has added another trophy to its collection this weekend by winning the 3x3 tournament in Bilbao, following their recent championship win in Valencia.

Smartlog Ointxe has achieved a new victory this weekend by winning the 3x3 tournament held in Bilbao. After winning the Valencia tournament, the Arrasate team has reaffirmed its dominance in this basketball modality. The team, composed of Irene Murua, Izar Bedia, Lara Gonzalez, and Uxue Etxarte, played the group stage on Saturday. After losing to the Las Rozas team, they advanced to the quarterfinals by defeating Bilbao Miners White (16-9). They faced Valencia Basket in the quarterfinals and also secured a victory after a serious and solid match (14-10). Thus, the Arrasate team qualified for the semifinals on Sunday.
On Sunday, they faced Bilbao Miners Black in the semifinals. After a physical and serious encounter, they achieved victory with a score of 16-12, earning the chance to play in another final. In the grand final, they competed against Valladolid, whom they defeated 15-12, showcasing excellent performance and claiming the championship.
The junior men's team also took home the championship in Bilbao. The team, consisting of Danel Perez, Lander Martinez, Iker Regodesebes, and Jairo Godoy, also secured a victory, meaning that two out of the three Ointxe teams participating in Bilbao emerged as champions.
The senior men's team, however, could not advance past the group stage. The team, made up of Andoni Atxa, Ekaitz Madinabeitia, Mikel Olaizola, and Iñaki Eraunzetamurgile, put up a strong fight. Despite a win against Bilbao Miners Black (21-12), losses to Pando Mataro (9-11) and Milan U23 (9-21) meant their tournament ended in the group stage.
