Starting this Wednesday, Bilbao will host the Elhuyar Science Fair, an event bringing together over 600 young people to present more than 183 scientific projects developed by students from Euskadi and other countries.

This event gathers students aged between 12 and 18, as well as research centers and universities from Euskadi. Earlier this academic year, 80 researchers and technology centers registered to work with ESO and Baccalaureate students, offering them guidance on the projects they are showcasing at the fair.
The main goal of the fair is to demonstrate to young people what research work entails, providing them with tools to better understand scientific technology and to experience firsthand the research conducted in Basque centers and universities.
During the days of the event, researchers will evaluate the students' projects. Prizes for the winners will include study scholarships and trips to attend other fairs both nationally and internationally.
