Musician David Byrne, former leader of Talking Heads, turns 74 and will join the Bilbao BBK Live lineup this July to present his latest studio album.

The Kobetamendi area in Bilbao will host a key figure of international music this coming July. As part of the 20th anniversary of the Bilbao BBK Live festival, David Byrne will perform a concert to showcase his most recent work, titled Who Is The Sky?.
The American artist has a long-standing career dating back to the 1970s with Talking Heads. His latest album, released last September, was arranged in collaboration with the Ghost Train Orchestra and features notable guest artists such as Hayley Williams and St. Vincent.

"At my age, at least for me, there is an attitude of 'I don't give a damn what people think' that kicks in. I can step out of my comfort zone with the knowledge that I now know who I am and I know what I'm doing."
