Emergency Services of the Basque Government rescued a 33-year-old female climber on Mount Udalatx (Arrasate) this Sunday, after she fell and injured her foot.

The incident occurred near the mountain's summit, where the woman, who was hiking in the area, fell and sustained a foot injury that prevented her from continuing on her own.
The alert was received by Sos Deiak 112 shortly after eleven in the morning. Following the alert, a technician from the Directorate of Emergency Care of the Basque Government dispatched a helicopter from the Ertzaintza with agents from the Mountain Section of the Surveillance and Rescue Unit (UVR).
The aircraft carried out the rescue of the victim, a Spanish national, who was subsequently transferred to Galdakao hospital for treatment of her injuries.
