Nearly two hundred historic and unique vehicles gathered this Saturday around the Arriaga Theatre in Bilbao as part of the second edition of the Arte Sobre Ruedas festival.

The streets of Arenal and Ribera became a time-traveling caravan. From classic Volkswagen models to impressive 1940s Citroëns, the exhibition turned the city center into an open-air museum. The gathering extended from the Arriaga Theatre square to the Ripa dock.
Among the most admired vehicles were the iconic Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, famous from a popular television series, and the unmistakable DMC DeLorean, made famous by the Back to the Future trilogy.
The exhibition also featured historic automotive gems, such as a 1949 Bristol manufactured specifically for Bilbao with a left-hand drive, and a 1924 Citroën B12. Additionally, the historic Azulito minibus was present, representing a significant piece of the city's transport history.
The festival continues this afternoon with a parade along the Gran Vía. The event will conclude this Sunday with the BasqueTour Turístico Bizkaia, which will depart from the Arriaga to cover a route between Bilbao and Bakio.
