The festivals in Galdakao have had their official conclusion. After the awards ceremony for the XXIV Championship between Cuadrillas, the festival protagonists gathered in Ardanza park to burn the mascots of the cuadrillas. This event marks the end of this year's celebrations, and one will have to wait until next year to experience this atmosphere again.
Once again this year, the Antzeko cuadrilla has taken first place in the championship, for the second consecutive year. They were closely followed by DBKTU and Güsak, respectively.
The top ten finishers in the championship were: Antzeko, DBKTU, Güsak, Dekantzekoz, Ah bittu!, Firu, Tolmotxetas, Antropayak, Bertan kaldo, and Trikiriki.
There were also other notable moments during the festivals, such as the popular community meal in Kurtz square and the Gandasegi arcades, which enjoyed a great atmosphere. Additionally, the 'Aura lehia' (Aura competition) initiative also had its place, with several cuadrillas participating. Furthermore, the wishes of various cuadrilla mascots were revealed, and finally, the 'Underwear and Panties Race' was another fun event of the festivals.
