Getxo's Puerto Viejo Festivals Overflowing

From August 12th to 16th, numerous events will take place, including concerts, sports competitions, and gastronomic activities.

The festivals to be held in Puerto Viejo, Getxo from August 12th to 16th will kick off tomorrow with the chupinazo. The program includes numerous events such as concerts, sports competitions, gastronomic activities, and children's events.

On August 12th, Thursday, the festivities will begin with the descent of cuadrillas, enlivened by the KU-KLUX fanfarria, and in the afternoon there will be a sardine feast in Asuerka. A solar eclipse will also be visible in Puerto Viejo, and the evening will feature concerts and children's cinema.
On August 13th, Friday, the day will start with a children's park, including various inflatables and a minimoto circuit. Additionally, there will be skate exhibitions, an ergometer regatta, and a roller hockey workshop. In the afternoon, climbs and the descent of giants and txistularis will take place, and in the evening, there will be concerts and a Basque dance exhibition.
On August 14th, Saturday, the Nasapunta vertical challenge will be held on the beach, and the children's park will be open again. In the afternoon, a fishing competition for young people and a rugby touch event will take place, along with nasapunta challenges for adults and children. In the evening, there will be a bertsos session and a bull run with fire.
On August 15th, Sunday, Marmitako Day will be celebrated, featuring a competition and awards ceremony. Furthermore, there will be a descent of giants and txistularis and an elektrotxaranga in the txosnas. The festivals will conclude with a concert in the evening.
