The main objective of this initiative is to enable migrant individuals to complete their regularization process with the necessary information and legal advice. To this end, the office will also implement a special mechanism for preparing vulnerability reports, which are essential for this process.
“"That all people living in Getxo can emerge from the situation of vulnerability that administrative irregularity entails and have the same rights and opportunities as the rest of the citizenry."
The assistance service will begin on April 24, and those interested in requesting an appointment can do so starting from April 23. Appointments can be requested by phone (944 660 152) or via WhatsApp (747 424 287), on Mondays and Tuesdays from 09:00 to 13:00, on Wednesdays from 15:00 to 19:00, and on Thursdays both morning and afternoon.
The City Council reminds that the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations also offers other channels for processing regularization, such as the 060 telephone number, Post Offices, or the National Social Security Institute. Additionally, third-sector organizations also provide support, such as the Mujeres con Voz association in Getxo, which offers this service via email and phone.
For those who wish to receive information directly, the City Council has organized two sessions: the first on April 29, at 18:00, at Getxo Elkartegia (Ogoño 1, Las Arenas) and the second on May 8, at 10:00, at the Algorta Culture Hall (Villamonte A-8).
