The Galdakao City Council has decided to reinstate the Emancipation Office service, which will offer personalized information and advice to young people aged 16 to 30 starting from May 13.

This new service aims to support young people in key areas for their personal autonomy, such as housing, employment, studies, and training. In-person assistance will be provided on the first floor of Torrezabal Kultur Etxea, every Wednesday and Friday, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Although the in-person service will commence on May 13, it is already possible to make contact online, and the phone number 675 70 00 89 and email address emantzipaziobulegoa@galdakao.eus are available for inquiries and personalized follow-up.

"Many young people continue to find it difficult to identify and access the most suitable resources for their situation."

Municipal sources
Driven by the Youth Department, this office is especially aimed at young people looking to start or advance their independent life project. This process is not always straightforward and raises questions in crucial areas. In this context, the service is configured as a close support point, where tailored guidance can be found for each situation.
This service provides individualized attention, facilitating information on programs and opportunities available from different administrations (local, regional, state, and European), as well as on specific municipal resources aimed at youth. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to support youth emancipation. In recent years, the Council has promoted various resources for young people, including a new line of rental aid for those aged 18 to 35, with the aim of facilitating access to housing.
