The Galdakao City Council has organized a cooking masterclass for children and young people in the municipality, to be held on April 24 at Torrezabal Kultur Etxea, in response to requests from the Children's Council.

This initiative, which emerged within the framework of the Children's Council, reflects the interests expressed by its members. It demonstrates the municipal commitment to creating real spaces for participation where children can transform their ideas into concrete actions and be an active part of the municipality's life.
The activity will take place next Friday, April 24, in the assembly hall of Torrezabal Kultur Etxea. It will start at 5:30 p.m. and admission will be free until full capacity is reached. A chef from the Andra Mari restaurant in Galdakao will lead the class, sharing culinary knowledge in a participatory proposal adapted to the youngest audience.
This will provide participants with the opportunity to acquire basic cooking notions while experimenting, creating, and approaching gastronomy from a close, educational, and motivating perspective. This initiative directly responds to one of the work lines proposed by the Council itself, which identified, among others, an interest in developing training activities related to gastronomy adapted for children and young people.
