The music agenda in Bizkaia presents a high number of proposals and stylistic eclecticism for this weekend, ranging from the new album presentation by Travellin' Brothers to the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Burning and Orquesta Mondragón.

This weekend, Bizkaia becomes the epicenter of a vast musical offering, characterized by its great diversity of styles. The band Travellin' Brothers will present their new album, while Burning and Orquesta Mondragón will commemorate their five decades of career. Additionally, the public can enjoy performances by Pablo López, Viva Suecia, Perico Sambeat, Agoney, Janus Lester, Yung Beef, Pelomono, Pastora Soler, Uri Caine Trio, Carla Pires, and international groups such as The Long Ryders, The Hangmen, and Saxon.
On Friday, Travellin' Brothers, recognized in 2015 as the best blues band in Europe, will premiere their album Back to Business at Bilbao's Kafe Antzokia. The formation will perform in a Big Band format, with 18 musicians on stage, fusing blues with jazz, r&b, rock, zydeco, soul, Latin sounds, and gospel. Guitarist Aitor Cañibano highlighted that “playing with a Big Band is like playing with a locomotive behind you. It elevates you and energizes you.” In Santurtzi, Burning, formed in the mid-70s, will continue to offer their rock and r&b, led by Johnny Cifuentes, reviewing their most emblematic hits.
On Saturday, singer-songwriter, pianist, and vocalist Pablo López will return to Bilbao's Euskalduna Jauregia as part of his El Niño del Espacio 2026 tour. In this concert, he will preview songs from his upcoming album and revisit some of his best-known tracks. Meanwhile, singer Pastora Soler will celebrate her 30-year career at the Teatro Campos with a show that will review the key moments and iconic songs of her trajectory. Viva Suecia will perform at the Bilbao Arena in Miribilla to present their latest album, Hecho en tiempos de paz, and fado singer Carla Pires will offer a concert at Bilbao's Sala BBK, bringing fado to a global dimension.
On Sunday, The Long Ryders, a benchmark of 80s American New Rock, will perform at Bilbao's Kafe Antzokia, playing their classics and songs from their recent album High Noon Hyms. The Orquesta Mondragón, led by Gurruchaga, will celebrate its 50th anniversary at the Arriaga Theater, combining rock, blues, and pop with humor and provocation. The Uri Caine Trio, at Muxikebarri in Getxo, will fuse jazz, rhythm & blues, and gospel, bridging tradition and modernity. Finally, the duo Pelomono, at Bilbao's Nave 9, will present an dreamlike and exotic show, influenced by Link Wray's guitars and David Lynch's universe.
