Euskotren to Offer Special Service During Bilbao's Aste Nagusia

An extensive train, metro, and tram service will be available from August 22nd to 30th, both day and night.

Euskotren will reinforce its special service during Bilbao's Aste Nagusia, from August 22nd to 30th, offering an extensive train, metro, and tram service, both day and night.

Euskotren will reinforce its special service during Bilbao's Aste Nagusia, from August 22nd to 30th, offering an extensive train, metro, and tram service, both day and night. The rail and metro service will be strengthened, in both directions, on lines E1 Matiko/Bilbao-Deba, E3 Kukullaga/Etxebarri-Lezama, E4 Matiko/Bilbao-Bermeo, and L3 metro in Bilbao (Matiko/Bilbao-Kukullaga/Etxebarri).
For the Bilbao tram, a special night service will be provided to complement the usual service. However, certain activities during the festival program may alter the tram service if specific road closures are required. Consequently, several services will be suspended on the Atxuri-Pio Baroja section.
Specifically, from August 22nd to 30th, between 17:13 and 8:58 the following day, the service between Atxuri and Pio Baroja will be suspended in both directions. Additionally, on Saturday, August 22nd, due to the Athletic Club – Sevilla FC football match, service will be interrupted between Euskalduna and La Casilla, in both directions, from 16:25 to 17:10 and from 18:35 to 19:25. Furthermore, the last departure from Bolueta to Pio Baroja will be at 16:07, and the last departure from Pio Baroja to Atxuri at 15:58.
Furthermore, on the afternoons of August 23rd to 30th, the last departure from Bolueta to Pio Baroja will be at 17:07, and the last departure from Pio Baroja towards Atxuri will be at 16:58. Similarly, on the nights of August 22nd to 29th, the tram service will be interrupted during the fireworks display, approximately from 22:27 to 22:57.
Euskotren recommends that passengers using the train, metro, or tram during the week of August 22nd to 30th consult the schedules in advance, both on the official app and via the search engine on the website www.euskotren.eus.
