Etxebarri Euskaltegi will commence its new academic year on October 5, with the enrollment period open until September 30. Both in-person and self-study courses will be offered at the euskaltegi in Bekosolo Park, for residents over 16 years old.
Enrollment can be completed in person or online. Until September 14, the office will be open from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and from September 15 to 30, the hours will be extended to include 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The City Council will provide financial aid for students demonstrating adequate course completion. A total of 12,000 euros has been allocated for this purpose. These grants are intended to cover course fees at the euskaltegi, as well as for residential courses, stays, and courses at the Udako Euskal Unibertsitatea. Parents, grandparents, and supervisors can receive 100% aid, while regular students will receive 50%.
Applications can be submitted until September 30, either electronically or in person at the Sociocultural Department.
Additionally, the Basque Government has introduced the Euskara Bonua this year, a new free model for learning Basque at A1-A2 and B1.1 levels, over a period of up to four years.
