For reasons yet to be determined, the vehicle veered off the road and continued its uncontrolled trajectory, breaking through a protective balustrade fence located next to the roadway, and ending up on an adjacent embankment. The driver was an elderly person.

During its uncontrolled path, the car struck several pieces of urban furniture, and also impacted a garden area and a nearby tree. Competent services later intervened to secure the perimeter, assess the damage, and remove any hazards from the affected area.
